FAQs

What vaccinations do you require my dog to have to attend your services?

We require all dogs to be up-to-date on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP (Distemper/Parvo) prior to setting up services.

Exceptions: Puppies under 4 months of age who are not yet eligible for vaccinations or haven’t completed their full series may still attend one-on-one sessions only. These puppies are not eligible for group services until all required vaccinations are completed.

Note: No other exceptions will be made to protect the health and safety of our staff and other dogs.

Is there a minimum age requirement for your services?

Yes, age requirements are as follows:

  • 4 months and older for boarding and board-and-train programs.

  • No minimum age requirement for our one-on-one training sessions.

Do you accept unspayed or unneutered dogs?

Yes, but with some restrictions:

  • Allowed: Unspayed/unneutered dogs are welcome for one-on-one training sessions.

  • Not allowed: Dogs must be spayed or neutered to participate in Boarding. Exceptions might be made for puppies under 1 year of age with no exceptions to female dogs in heat.

What do you do when the weather is bad (heavy snow/extreme heat) and a training walk is scheduled?

The health and safety of all dogs in our care is our top priority.

  • Hot Weather & Heavy Snow: Walks may be shortened or rescheduled, depending on what is deemed safest by our lead trainer.

What is your payment and cancelation policy?

All services require:

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • If canceled at least 7 days before for non-holiday periods or at least 14 days before for holiday periods, the deposit can be credited toward a future service within 6 months.

  • If no rescheduling occurs within the 6-month window, the deposit is forfeited.

  • The remaining 50% is due on the first day of service.

How many training sessions will it take to achieve my goals?

Every dog, family, and training goal is different. We take an individualized approach to training and do not provide estimates without first meeting your dog.

All training clients must begin with an initial one-on-one training session where we assess your dog, environment, and goals. After this session, we’ll provide a tailored plan and timeline.
